Unprecedented mathematical knowledge found Akrotiri paintings

Magazine "Archaeometry", www.nature.com and BioEd Online articles are reporting that the roof paintings of a 2-level building in prehistoric Akrotiri site, have an extreem interest about the mathematical knowledge during the Bronze Age.

According to the articles the paintings with the spiral shapes are showing an unprecedented mathematical knowledge of the artist. 13 centuries before Arcimides invented the spiral shape, the artist created this symmetric spirals - this kind of spiral does not exist in the nature - using extreemly equal distances from eachother.
